64HDD Professional Features:

Dedicated Serial Fast-Loaders: - a FastLoader and X-Loader options accelerate load times on a C64 by up to x8. The enhancement is available without the need to upgrade your Kernal and works with the standard X1541 or XE1541 cable you already use. If you want to load multi-file or auto-run programs, you will need a Kernal ROM upgrade (just as you do with Pwr-Load). The basic FastLoader will work on most 386/486 PC giving at least a x4 improvement. Users with a faster 486 or Pentium can select one of the faster X-Loader options for full throttle loading.
Graphical User Interface #1 (64HDD): - a new GUI is standard and provides information during 64HDD operation and data transfers. It shows the status of the current devices, any error info and progress during file loads. There is also an activity / error "LED" for each activated device!
Graphical User Interface #2 (64GUI): - another GUI module allows you to navigate when searching to connect or activate devices or set-up partition tables and short-cuts. The tool also lets you assign common names to short-cuts and to configure multi-disk programs. To help you move to commonly used file locations there's even a "Favorites" list that you can customise.
Graphical User Interface #3 (64GUI - FileManager) - included is a FileManager to make it easy to rename, copy, move or delete files on your system.
Graphical User Interface #4 (64CONFIG) - your 64HDD configuration is made easier with a new config tool which lets you easily select the features to enable.
More features for Gamers: - enhancements to the way partitions and short-cuts work mean you can now assign common names to these and can also search by these names. You can also configure multi-disk games to be automatically recognised and assigned to the Disk-Flip table.
More features for geoUsers: - serious GEOS users can take advantage of the larger D81 (800kb) disk format that is now supported. GEOS XP is exclusive to Professional users offering a high compatibility kernal, special ShortCut-Plus and PreConfig utilities and a driver style structure for each device protocol, so you can save disk space by only keeping the drivers you want to use. For the speed hungry the 64GEOS drivers have now been revised to include a FastSaver and PwrLoad option for those using the Pwr-Cable. Imagine, GEOS booting and running faster than Windows on a Pentium!
Print Spooling and Emulation: - output to devices #4 and #5 can now be spooled to 64HDD. The print jobs can then be re-routed through Print Engines. Already there is a PC text and HTML engine, stay tuned for more... or write your own! The print facilities can be managed through the command channel or through the PrintManager built-in to 64GUI.
Too many more to mention: - Improved CMD features, incl. partition commands, and loadable FD2000 and CMDHD ROMs (dummy ROMs include, user must supply real ones if they want them) More device numbers, 0-30 can be activated Built-in routines to transfer to / from 1541 disks (for backup and running games that are not compatible) Device "swap" for swapping #8 to a 64HDD source, and back again Screen saver, delay configurable by the user Sound output control, clicks and beeps can be user tweaked or disabled Pwr-Loader driver for the Vic20 More file formats such as ZIP, P00 and N64 Many more enhancements are being developed as time goes on...
