- For users who need the basic cable to get started, the XE1541
is a good choice as it works with most PCs. The XE1541 connects
the PC and Commodore hardware together.
You can also use the same cable with dedicated disk backup
software such as StarCommander to bulk-backup your disk collection
into PC format quickly.
The cable connects the LPT port on the PC and the Commodore
Serial Bus and can be used on C64, C128, Vic20, Plus4 and
C16.

The interface installs between the LPT and X-cable on the
